But I ended up putting them in glass vials. One around my neck, the other with my gem collection. They are quite beautiful, despite the size.I was expecting small chunks or ruby rough. You get flakes of ruby rough. I wanted to try my hand at making ruby and silver rings. This might make a very small ear ring. I honestly can't think of any use for these shavings. Gave it 3 stars instead of one because if it doesn't break the bank you shouldn't expect the bank.My daughter loved them.These stones were to small to do anything with. Being cut into cubes Under 2mm with no holes made it Sunday impossible to do anything with. For the price iexpected a more lustrous stone. These stones were very dull. I would not purchase again. I will be sticking with a competitor that sells faceted stones for the same price.I returned them bc i was expecting something bigger. They are very small.
