Geneva Chronograph Crystal Watch - Gold Tone Metal Link for Elegant Style

I was very pleased with this watch. However, I bought two (from two different sellers thinking it was the same watch) and I ended up with two that (to my boyfriend look the same) but I could tell the difference. One was very expensive looking and heavy and overall I was in love with. The other looked cheap to me and had bigger links and a more metallic-y paint on it. I ended up giving the cheaper looking one to my sister...But the one that I kept I was extremely pleased with. I receive tons of compliments on it. Just as a note, the one that looked more expensive and like it would hold up longer was by the seller "Exquisite Collections." I also put a coat of clear acrylic paint on it because I was afraid that the paint would chip after reading some of the other reviews. I also had to get the watch re-sized which cost me 5 dollars. I have a small wrist, but unless you weigh 400 pounds you will probably have to get this re-sized in order to fit your wrist properly.This is a great looking watch. The quality appears to be good, although the appeared to be broke, but I looked in the plastic bag the watch was in and found the pin that holds one end and after a little bit of effort it was back together. It also appear to not be running until I found a very small pices of plastic that was wedged under the stem where you set he watch, when I removed this it started to run and was then easy to set also. The wife just loves it I also got her the Platinum one as well and had less trouble with it, as all I had to do was remove the little piece of plastic under the stem which holds the stem up so the battery is not drained during shipping. My wife likes to wear a different watch for every day of the week, so finding these watches at Amazon has saved me a bunch of money. I have 3 more coming next month. I hope I have as good luck with them as I had with these. Thank you Amazon for saving this poor boys money for him.I bought this watch as i wanted to buy a cheaper version of the beautiful Michael kors watches. I was really worried of the colour, quality etc of the watch as it is only 16$. However, it doesn't look cheap AT ALL. It looks like a real heavy expensive watch and its absolutely beautiful. The diamonds aren't a lot at all and neither is the gold. The size is comparable to a fossil watch. The diamonds aren't flashy they look amazing. Also it arrived so quick, 2 days before the estimated shipping date! It even came with a little bangle for free. I recommend this watch too anyone trying to save money but still have a beautiful watch. If your looking for a gold watch, buy this one! This ones particularly nice because the background on the face is gold like the more expensive versions instead of white which looks cheap. BUY IT!also it was too big, which i expected as most watches come too big. It was very easy to remove a couple links, you just have to watch a video on it or something. So ya if you dont mind removing the links yourself or getting it sized then the size shouldnt be a problem.Received the watch today, it looks better than I had expected and appears to be quite solid. I showed it to a friend and he was stupefied when I told him what I paid for it, under $6.00 including shipping. How long it lasts, remains to be seen but for the money it is very hard to pass up. According to Amazon it has a 2 year warranty, how could you lose. I will say that it is a bit flashy but then I have a couple of WAY more expensive watches that are just as, if not more blingy that I wear on rare occasions but would not want to lose or have stolen...something like this one, who cares..Bout two years ago my father bought me a MK watch which we know is like $250. I loved it so much and wore it everyday until it was stolen along with the luggage i left in a friends car. I had the money replace it but I just couldnt fathom paying that. So i looked for alternatives and found this watch. I its a great look a like and the best thing to know is BEFORE YOU WEAR THE WATCH BUY A CLEAR SEALANT FROM WALMART OR MICHAELS (rustoleme spray paint clear gloss $5) AND SPRAY AN EVEN COAT ON BOTH SIDES (tape over the front glass> use exacto bade to cut off excess tape) LET DRY REMOVE TAPE AND WEAR. I;ve had this watch over a year now and it looks almost as good as the day i got it.PS this process worrks for all costume jewlery keeps it from turning green and irrating the skin.I bought this watch just to have a cheap gold watch to go with a few gold pieces of jewelry. I'm not a big fan of gold so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a gold watch. I never expected the weight of a watch to be a big deal to me but I immediately noticed how light and cheap it felt especially compared to my silver Marc Jacobs watch that I wear everyday. The watch looks nice for the most part but the clasp does feel and look very cheap. I'm undecided about whether or not to get any links taken out because I'm afraid the clasp may break. If you're just looking for a cute cheap watch to last a short time this is a great option.I ordered this because I wanted a larger faced watch that was easier to see. I do have a very nice watch, so this was going to be another option for me, not my main watch. The watch is accurately described in my opinion. What it is not is high quality. What does one expect for that price? In saying that, I wasn't expecting Rolex quality so I am happy with it. I will say, don't order it thinking it is a heavy looking, expensive looking watch. It is pretty and shiny, but it also looks very costume. If that's what you are looking for like me, purchase it..if not...Next it!the clasp lost a pin (or never had it) and the watch fell off my wrist after just a couple hours of wearing it :( i need to figure out this return policy nowUPDATE: I contacted the seller via Amazon about the band breaking, they're sending me a new one at no cost and didn't even need me to send the old one back! The one I currently have with the broken band is still running and keeping time well.I love the watch but I am very unhappy as it arrived smashed and broken. I imagine it will not last long so if this is for a present or to wear everyday maybe not advisable. however I just want to wear a gold watch now again with outfits so i wanted a cheap watch. Its a perfect gold colour, looks fab considering the price, not too big just right, might have to take a link out.I bought this for a close friend whip was in need of a watch, when it came I thought it was a bit overpackaged And a waste of material. The watch came in a cute little red box and was wrapped round a little red cushion which made it look super expensive. The watch looked exactly like it does in the photo and I would recommend this to anyone wanting a stylish yet cheap watch for themselves or a friend. I would definitely buy this again.I bought this item for my husband and he loves it. He had to get it adjusted to fit better at the jewelers as it's a bit big for his wrist but apart from that I'm really happy to have bought it for him as hes grown quite attached to it and people are always saying it's really nice and where did he get it. Thanks againMiss Tracy LynnExactly what I expected for a watch that cost less than a pint of beer. Totally fine for the price. Cheap material, doesn't actually work so essentially fails in its primary function of telling the time. Wanted it to complete a darts legend "Bobby George" outfit for a charity darts night, so did the job perfectly. Only gets 4 out of 5 because it doesn't actually tell the time.The watch didn't work. Pointless to return it as it was so cheap. A waste of money.
